Mobile pattern definition

Given the growing number of applications, positioning Fieldnote as a for profit tool was not easy. When they came to us with the beta version of their product, we wanted to push their ideas further. What initially began as redesign of the application, quickly turned into a full on brand strategy... which concluded with a more unique product and increased market differentiation.

Definition of brand attributes through the Kapferer prism, positioning of the application within it’s similars, added to the vision and knowledge of the Fieldnote team, all combined to help us identify the core value of the application.

Heuristic evaluation of the beta application and core value definition allowed us to isolate and ultimately identify the key features / workflows that were most important to users.

The new design focused on the action cards and add a note. Each defined by a clean and minimalist design true to the definition of the brand.
